About the artist |
Peter Welch has been studying watercolor painting since 2002, first with Kittery Point, Maine Artist Wendy Turner and then with New Hampshire Seacoast Artist Dorine Gross.
Welch says, “Watercolor painting has been a wonderful blessing in my life. It has provided so many rich lessons, including learning how to be more patient, celebrating spontaneity, and seeing the beauty in everything around me. What gifts.” When he’s not painting, Peter works with AAUP – American Association of University Professors, and UNH Lecturers United- AAUP, both at the UNH campus, and teaches in the UNH Women’s Studies program. He lives in Kittery Point, Maine with his spouse Michael Stone and their sweet pup dasher. To learn more about his work, please contact him at [email protected] |
